Q How does the availability work?
A The search will find everyone who is available within the next two months of the date of the search.
Q How do I add my availability?
A Really you are going to stipulate when you are not available, thus identifying what time you have got free to work.
- Go in through the Managers side of the site – using your registration log in and password – it will take you to your home page.
- On the LHS are update options and the very top one is 'update your availability'.
- When you are on the Availability page you must complete the top half of the page with the bottom half being optional allowing you to add more detail:-
- On the top half of the page – number of days free everyone must enter information here, even if it is that you are available for 0 days per week or that it is Not Applicable (N/A) because you work only as a consultant.
- In this section, if you are an interim manager, you can say how many days per week you are free. This also gives you the opportunity to add a bit of narrative to explain your circumstances, for example if you are currently Available for 3 days per week but these days are flexible, you can say so.
- As an interims manager or consultant - you can use this facility to make yourself Unavailable by adding in that you are Available for 0 days per week – and you then won't be found on any search until you alter it or N/A if you are a consultant.
- When you've added or changed your Availability click on the 'Update' button.
- On the bottom half of the page – if you are a consultant you can access a full diary that allows you to mark down Unavailability (turns orange on the diary when unavailable), thus stipulating what you are still available for. You can identify individual days or blocks of time when you are Unavailable. You can do this either by inputting dates into the date fields on the Availability page (bottom of screen) or by going into the diary itself and clicking on the first day you are Unavailable (using the '+' on that day) and then clicking on the 'Insert Booking' button (it will turn Orange next time you go in to the diary).
